Mount Rainier Spring Greening

It is that time of year again! The flowers are starting to bloom, the grass is starting to grow again, Spring is in the air!

Mayor Miles took a break from knocking on doors and headed down to the Mount Rainier Nature Center to enjoy some of the fun they had to offer. She met with many residents, visitors, vendors, and an alpaca or two.

Some of the fun available was making smoothies using the power of a bicycle, the Mount Rainier Bike Co-op helping people make adjustments to their bikes, the Garbage Monster bringing awareness to the littering problems we have locally, food, crafting vendors with some of our own local artisans, and the animals...OH the animals!

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, especially the kids and those who are still kids at heart <3
